Frankfurt investment banker Linda Bachmann and her team are attending a weekend seminar at Lord and Lady McIntosh's country estate in Scotland. The annual financial statement is poor, and mistrust is rampant. Rumors of a restructuring are circulating. The estate is dilapidated, a fact that the culinary delights of the gifted cook Helen cannot disguise. Furthermore, the concept of the young workshop leader Rebecca proves questionable. When the Lord's favorite peacock disappears, chaos erupts. And to top it all off, it unexpectedly begins to snow.
